Reputation[]
Upon entering the Obelisk, Yeon-woo had already built himself a reputation as fearsome, greedy, bloodthirsty, and violent. This is backed by the fact that he cleared the Floors of the Obelisk and horde, monopolized, manipulated, and maximized all the Hidden Pieces, Clans, Players, and everything else. All for his own benefit, which only grew as his Reputation, Achievements, and Actions gradually placed him in the Limelight as one of the Tower's most powerful Rookies.
Currently, due to his actions and achievements, Yeon-woo is considered a member of the "Six New Stars". He is also a potential candidate to become a new "King" within the Obelisk and rise to the same level of prestige, power, and reputation as the Nine Kings.
After revealing his face, a majority of the Tower has now become immensely fearful of the "Revived Heaven Wing".
Family[]
Father[]
Yeon-Woo doesn't have many memories of his father, but recalls the one time that he and his brother were tenderly being held by him while they were laughing together.
Mother[]
Yeon-Woo greatly loved his mother and was by her side until she died. Throughout his journey for revenge, he would recall her and admit to himself that he wishes to see her again.
Cha Jeong-woo[]
Yeon-Woo's younger twin brother. The two were thick as thieves before his brother suddenly disappeared. After learning what happened to his brother, he set off to Obelisk to seek revenge for him. He witnessed Yul who was about to be killed by his former teammates and recalled how his brother was betrayed by his teammates. This caused him to help Yul even though he tried to stay out of others' business.
When creating a new Mugong he named it Heaven Wing Mana Control after his brother's nickname to honor Jeong-woo.
As revealed after completing the inheritance quest at the Monkey King's Palace and receiving a piece of Ryu-Bang. He has stated that he will only share his immense power and Hidden Pieces with Jeong, demonstrating his love and loyalty to his twin brother.
Seeing the shadow of Jeong-woo on the 21st floor, Yeon-Woo became deeply affected to the point that his trait "Cold-blooded" activated so he kept his calm and composure. Yeon-Wo even removed his mask. As he fought the shadow of his brother, he described the experience as fun.
However, despite loving him, longing to see him again, and feeling anger for his behalf for the betrayals he suffered, Yeon-woo was also shown to harbor somewhat malignant feelings for Jeong-woo. This is seen where he actively chastised him for choosing someone like Viera Dune to love and considered him a stupid idiot due to the fact that despite them betraying him and literally stabbing him to death, Jeong-woo didn't feel an ounce of hatred or contempt for either Viera or his comrades. This shows that while he cherished Jeong-woo's trusting nature and a strong sense of loyalty, he also saw it as one of his major flaws.
After unlocking the pocket watch, Yeon-woo was shown to be overjoyed at having reunited with Jeon-woo, even if he was nothing more than a visage left behind by the true Jeong-woo. After reuniting with him, Yeon-woo has become incredibly protective of Jeong-woo and has made it one of his primary goals to truly resurrect him from the dead.
As seen from his first battle against All-For-One and Jeong-woo attempting to sacrifice himself for his brother to escape, Yeon-woo angrily berated his younger brother for nearly destroying himself and lovingly/angrily declared that he was his "nice but stupid" younger brother and that he shouldn't try to protect him, as he was the elder brother, it was his job to protect him.
Sesha[]
At first, she was wary of him but started to warm up to him after he made snacks for her. Yeon-Woo was shown to be happy and caring around her, showing his soft side to her. Yeon-Woo was surprised and shocked to learn about her being the daughter of Jeong-woo, as his brother never mentioned that he had a daughter in his journal. When Agares tried to eat her, she became scared and called out to him in her mind. Yeon-Woo came to save her and removed his mask in front of her. When Sesha saw his face, she believed that he was her father. While fighting the Agares, Yeon-Woo expressed his thoughts of himself committing a great sin for not doing a good job in protecting her. Yeon-Woo was shown to have a soft spot for her and stated that he would do anything for her sake to the point of calling himself a niece's fool. Edora herself noted that Sesha has her uncle warped around her finger. Yeon-Woo became very protective of her as there were many clans who targeted her for being one of the last dragons born within the tower.
As seen during their time together, Yeon-woo has come to genuinely adore his niece and constantly spoils her with sweets and snacks made by him, and enjoys playing games with her.
Four Legendary Beasts[]
Allies[]

Yeon-woo's Friends and Allies within the Obelisk
Kahn[]
Kahn witnessed Yeon-Woo subdue a group of players who tried to kill Yul and was impressed. He also learned that Yeon-Woo cleared block A on his own. This led to him to attempt to include Yeon-Woo into his party since he and Doyle alone would be unable to obtain Hargan's hidden piece themselves. At first, things did not go well as Yeon-Woo did not trust him and he wanted to go solo. However, Yeon-Woo decided to join them, but did not tell them his actual name and used his moniker "Cain" from his military days as his name.
The trio worked well together and managed to acquire Hargan's hidden piece. However, after disposing of The Scavengers, Yeon-Woo separated from them and went his own way. Kahn didn't want to him in danger as he and Doyle were planning to attack Arangdan, a subsidiary of Cheonghwado, which was the true mastermind behind The Scavengers. However, they were caught by Bile, the head of Arangdan.
Later, Yeon-Woo saved the two and they decided to retire and try again in the next tutorial. Kahn and Doyle gave Yeon-Woo their tokens and told him about Vigrid, a sword in Block F that they intended to obtain.
Doyle[]
Doyle was impressed by Yeon-Woo achievement and hoped to team up with him to obtain Hargan's hidden piece. When Doyle and Kahn caught up to Yeon-Woo in block B, Doyle almost died from a knife thrown by Yeon-Woo who thought they had ill intention. Despite this, Doyle did not hold any ill will towards Yeon-Woo and explained that they wanted to team up to obtain a hidden piece. Yeon-Woo decided to join them, however, he did not tell them his actual name and used his moniker "Cain" from his military days as his name.
The trio worked well together and managed to acquire Hargan's hidden piece. However, after disposing of The Scavengers, Yeon-Woo separated from them and went his own way. Galliard[]
Yeon-woo and Galliard are close friends and respect each other for their talents. When he first met Yeon-woo, he was unfriendly and didn't expect much from him. But later on, started to acknowledge him seeing how he passed his trial by catching him with a score of 7/10. When Yeon-woo later found his pendant and returned him, he felt indebted as he finally got what he wanted. He, later on, saved Yeon-woo from danger when his movements were restricted due to the fatigue from fighting the Akashic snake and helping him digesting this Akashic Snake's core and even going on the length to help him destroy Arang's Group. Galliard has complete faith in him as shown when he asked Brahm to allow him to enter his imaginary world on the 23rd. Yeon-woo also thinks of him as someone close to him as he didn't hesitate to remove his mask before him for Sesha. Also, Yeon-Woo comes to greatly respects Galliard for protecting Sesha who turned out to be Jeong-woo daughter, and states that he is willing to give him anything.
Henova[]
He met Cha Yeon-woo when the latter visited his smithy and correctly concluded that Henova was trying to drive him away to protect him as the Night Watch, a subsidiary of Red Dragon, had been hurting his customers. The two would start a master-student relationship when Yeon-Woo asked to teach him in order to fix his brother's pocket watch. Yeon-Woo was happy to know that Henova never betrayed his brother, but decided not to get too close to the dwarf in order to protect him from being involved in his revenge. However, after learning Henova was attacked and his shop destroyed, Yeon-Woo made sure he got to a healer then went to get revenge for him against Night Watch. Henova was worried sick about Yeon-Woo and waited for him instead of resting. After he returned Henova acted like he did not care and the next day he seemed like he doesn't care that the smithy was fixed and dismissed it as Yeon-Woo wanting the artifact he ordered to be complete as soon as possible, but Yeon-Woo knows that the dwarf is actually a tsundere. Yeon-Woo would use his alias Cain when Henova asked for his name. Before leaving Yeon-Woo thanked Henova for everything he did for him.
Although Henova doesn't show him that he cares for him, he would always give his best to make equipment for him.
Phante[]
Yeon-Woo meet Phante during the tutorial in Block G. Phante wanted to fight Yeon-Woo after witnessing his power as it made him excited. However, Phante was defeated and his sister tokens were taken by Yeon-Woo this lead to him holding hostility toward Yeon-Woo. After being denied a rematch he searched for his opponent everywhere to no avail, but after learning of his location he rushed there which lead to him being punched. Phante tried to reason and even begged Yeon-Woo to fight with him and even agreed to an absurd condition only to be defeated again. After that Phante showed respect and obedience to Yeon-Woo and call him Hyung (older brother in Korean).
Later Yeon himself openly admitted that he now considers Phante as something akin to a younger brother. This is seen in their interaction where Phante would often show a mixture of jealousy, awe, reverence, and respect for Yeon and see his strength, technique, and abilities as a goal to reach for himself.
Edora[]
Edora met Yeon-Woo during the tutorial in Block G. After he defeated her brother he took her tokens then left. Angry at first she began to blush to say that Yeon-Woo was amazing. Showing that she developed romantic feelings for him. After meeting again when the tutorial ended she whispered her congratulation to him and Yeon-Woo was surprised as he could tell that she was being sincere.
After meeting again in Henova Smithy she was respectful and call Oraboni (a respectful way for girls to address an older brother). However, Yeon-Woo did not know why she was acting this way. When Yeon-Woo decided to enter the tower she reasoned that he can go first while she and her brother will follow him as it's their free will. After Yeon-Woo finished the beginner zone And could not find the sibling he became worried about something he noted to be strange for him to do.
Later despite Edora attempts to make romantic advances as him, Yeon admitted that he could only ever see and love Edora as something akin to a younger sister, but somehow was shocked learning that Edora has become one of the rising stars or rookies in the Tower calling her the 'Magic beauty'.
Phoenix[]
The Phoenix is one of the Mythical Beasts that Yeon-Woo wanted to obtain her quest for the sacred fire. At first, she was hostile to him due to fear over her eggs from being stolen like another egg when she was away. Yeon-Woo promised to and brought back her egg. Phoenix allowed him to name the hatching that came out of the egg he saved. During the course of their relationship, The Phoenix reminded Yeon-Woo of his mother. During her death, she chose him as her heir and requested him to take care of her child.
The Martial King[]
The Martial King is the father of Phante and Edora. He has a positive impression on Yeon-Woo, took him as a disciple, hope to keep him close, and see him worthy of marrying his daughter. While Yeon-Woo respects Martial King he doesn't want to be tied down.
As seen during the course of their relationship, Yeon-woo develops a strong student-teacher relationship with the Martial King, with the former respecting him for his immense skill and power and taking all of his lessons and advice to heart. The Martial King in turn, sees Yeon-woo as a invaluable apprentice and feels strong pride at his growth. However, despite their positive relationship with each other, it has been shown that Yeon-woo himself feels competitive with his master and desires to overpower him one day.
This is seen where Yeon-woo himself desires to become powerful enough to defeat him and beat him up himself. Nayu in turn, finding his attempts to overcome him amusing, enjoys bullying, teasing and beating Yeon-woo up for fun.
As noted by several individuals such as Shanon and Tarneck, Nayu and Yeon-woo have similar personalities with their recklessness, complete disregard for other people's authority, and destructive impulses.
Victoria[]
Victoria had a playful attitude when she met Yeon-Woo for the first time. Yeon-Woo was intrigued by the Rune Magic she demonstrated. Since she is a runemaster Yeon-Woo made a deal with her in order to learn rune. Victoria accepted due to needing to analyze the mind of someone who can speed up their thought process. However, Yeon-Woo neglected to inform her of his cold-blooded trait and his awakening as a dragon as both of them are natural enemies for analysis of the mind. After all of the incidents in the monkey king palace, Victoria was deeply affected by it and believed it was all due to her which led to the death of other Sadhus.
Much later when she saw Yeon-woo again, she was extremely happy that he had survived the botched quest in the Monkey King's Palace and was slightly comforted by the fact that he had not died and that Rebecca had survived somewhat. Later after hearing his request to help him in completing the Philosophers stone, Victoria even gave him her full research Manifesto Tome on her life's work on creating an entirely new school of thought and field of magic in order to assist him in completing the stone. Giving him an idea of how much guilt she felt instead of her not being able to personally him fearing that Devil Army would come for her again and the amount of guilt she felt for dragging Yeon, Kahn, and Rebeca into Kindred's trap.
Later after going through her research and realizing how close Victoria was in creating and inventing an entirely new field and school of thought in magic, Yeon could not help but feel incredibly impressed by her accomplishments, talent, and potential and feel a sense of loss due to her current broken state rendering her unable to continue. Yeon genuinely hopes that Victoria can overcome herself and come out of her current broken state due to now feeling a sense of respect for her, knowing of her full capabilities.
Lana[]
One of Cha Jeong-woo former teachers and one of the people he was most close to during his time as a Ranker in Arthia.
As seen, due to him seeing Jeong-woo's memories of her in his journal and seeing how much she cared for and loved his younger brother and her attempts to avenge him and her remaining loyal to him despite the overwhelming odds against her, Yeon-woo had a great opinion of Lana and would have liked to meet her when she was alive.
Later, upon seeing her dead body and seeing her final moments and the amount of regret she had at not being able to avenge Jeong-woo, Yeon-woo's opinion of her increased and he became dead set on avenging her as well and was grateful to her for her continued loyalty to his little brother even in death.
Later. after gaining the power to summon the dead from the afterlife, Yeon-woo summoned her, where after a fast introduction, he and Lana soon became fast friends and bonded over their shared love for Jeong-woo. Lana herself was overjoyed that there was still someone fighting for his sake and was stated to be relieved by Yeon-woo in vice versa. Later, Lana herself invited him to summon her again to talk more about Jeong-woo and promised to assist him in his vendetta.
Spirit Familiar[]
Boo[]
Boo is the first soul Yeon-Woo converted into a familiar. After regaining his mind Boo swore his loyalty and allegiance to Yeon-Woo. Boo was shown to be angry when a group of players came to kill his master to the point of seeing death to not be enough to punish them as he considered his master to be a god. Also, whenever Yeon-Woo gives Boo more soul beads to eat in order to become stronger his loyalty to his master deepens and. Boo considers Yeon-Woo to be a generous master for giving him more soul beads.
Later in order to further strengthen Boo, Yeon had him devour Leonte to further increase his power, making Boo estatic due to having the chance to absorb the power of a low high Ranker.
Later after seeing Boo's continued growth, Yeon was surprised to learn that Boo's true power was actually equivalent to that of the "Nine King" of the Tower after it was revealed by Brahm that Boo was not "learning" and "gaining" new powers but he was in fact simply "regaining" and "remembering" his original abilities from before he was killed.
Later upon Boo beginning to regain his memories and knowledge as the "Faust", Boo has displayed even more loyalty towards Yeon-woo than before. Having been shown to assist him however he can and using his regained power and knowledge in further strengthening and evolving Yeon-woo.
Shanon[]
Shanon in particular sees serving Yeon as his best chance of increasing his power even further and becoming a Ranker that he has always dreamt of and has now become content on becoming Yeon's undead servant. With him having successfully evolved into a Death Knight and later him getting a chance to devour the Soul of the High Ranker, Bahal, Making him incredibly giddy at the chance to obtain his signature Skills of Flame Rain or Volcano for himself. Eventually, Shanon is shown to have become genuinely loyal and caring for Yeon during the course of their time together. As seen where he would give advice to Yeon on how to clear each Floor's trials and assist him in his plans and training however he can. Yeon reciprocates this by genuinely starting to feel comfortable around Shanon and trust him.
Similar to all of his familiar servants, Shanon possesses a strong sense of loyalty towards Yeon and would prioritize his safety and life before his own. This is seen where he repeatedly showed concern for Yeon during his trial in the Shadow Dojo and his battle against Agares and attempted to shield and protect him repeatedly. Later upon seeing more warmer and kinder aspects of Yeon's personality when caring for Sesha, Shanon was visibly surprised and somewhat unnerved due to his typical cold and detached personality making it seem like he was heartless.
Later Shanon was shown to possess a level of jealousy at Yeon due to the apparent ease he was gaining powers, skills, and abilities that many rankers (including himself while alive) had worked so hard for to obtain. This in turn has spurred a level of a one-sided rivalry with the two of them due to Shanon also desiring to evolve and become more powerful than Yeon that resulted in him becoming the first of Yeon's undead to successfully evolve into "Death Noble".
Shanon and Yeon in particular would develop a very casual friendship with each other, where Yeon had already gotten used to Shanon's talkative personality and has adjusted to his constant quipping.
Later during his battle against Red Dragon and the Nine Dragon Sons and Yeon's intention to kill the Summer Queen, Shanon briefly felt a sense of confusion and conflict due to his previous ties to the enemy clan and lingering sense of loyalty to the Queen. However, upon Yeon noticing this, he immediately made his and Shanon's relationship as master and servant clear and asked him if he was loyal to him or not. Although he harbored reservation due to his past, Shanon responded and confirmed his loyalty to Yeon and made peace about his past ties to Red Dragon, and immediately followed Yeon's lead to annihilate the Dragon Sons for him.
Hanryeong[]
In the beginning Yeon-woo despised Hanryeong for his action of killing the Four legendary beasts on the 11th floor. After successfully absorbing Hanryeong's soul, Yeon-woo managed to successfully convince him to become his second Death Knight. With the Former Saber God, being all too happy to accept upon seeing Yeon's character and grateful for him having saved his son and regretted all his actions. Later Hanryeong was seen to have come to become comfortable and trustful enough in Yeon to willingly assist him in his training and efforts to clear the Tower's Trials and work his way up the Floors. As seen where he would obediently follow his orders and give him advice on how to clear the trials and advanced himself in training.
As seen during his climbing of the Tower, Hanryeong was shown to also share a level of annoyance, jealousy, and amazement at Yeon's progress as he climbs up the Tower, as seen where similar to Shanon, he was continuously impressed and surprised by the apparent ease Yeon was gaining skills, powers and abilities that Rankers had spent their entire lives to acquire and has shown a level of frustration at his accelerated growth.
However despite this, like all of Yeon's familiar servants, Hanryeong has also shown a strong level of concern, loyalty, and protectiveness for Yeon. As seen during his trial in the Shadow Dojo and his battle against Agares, where he would continuously attempt to protect and shield him against his opponents.
Later similar to Shanon, Hanryeong expressed surprise at Yeon's more kindhearted and warmer personality when caring for Sesha and expressed surprise that someone as cold and detached as Yeon could be so warmhearted to children.
Rebecca[]
When Rebecca first met Yeon-woo, she considered him to be an ordinary player and didn't even acknowledge him. While in the Monkey King's Dungeon, she was surprised when she saw how he successfully defended himself against Monkey king's vestige as he did what even ranker couldn't do. She felt her pride being hurt when Yeon-woo saved her, but she asked him to lead the way.
After her death in the palace's trial, he collected her body for future use and later revived her and convinced her to become the "consciousness" for the Blue Spirit he received from the Abyss Turtle. Although wary of Yeon, Rebecca eventually warmed up to him and agreed to become one of his subordinates in exchange for a level of freedom and the promise of a homunculus body. Eventually, it was revealed that Rebecca had also been ordered by her Patron God, Cernunnos to watch and observe Yeon himself due to his unbelievable increase in strength and power that even impressed and surprised her. But during her time with him, she was in disbelief as to how could a player like Yeon-woo could exist and understood why she was ordered to observe him.
Brahm[]
Originally he was suspicious of Yeon-woo and didn't want to teach him alchemy, he later on successfully struck a deal with him, to train Sesha on how to use her powers properly in exchange for teaching him alchemy. Brahm and Yeon have now developed a relationship of mutual respect due to them being impressed by the other's abilities, knowledge, and powers. He later succumbed to his injuries and was revived as a Spirit Familiar by Jeon-woo when he told him that he could help him save Sesha and Ananta.
Due to him having now acquired a former God as a spirit familiar servant, Yeon has now become a person of interest to the Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor due to Brahm's previous identity as Brahma, one of the highest and most powerful Gods of the Deva Pantheon.
Currently, both Brahm and Yeon are plotting to annihilate and destroy Viera Dune's guild of Walpurgisnacht in order to protect Sesha and Ananta. Both of them end up bonding over their shared love and protectiveness over Yeon's niece due to Brahm being her adoptive grandfather and their mutual hatred for Viera Dune.
Mythical Beast Familiars[]
Nike[]
Upon approaching Chirpy's mother, the original Phoenix to help him hatch his Mythical Beast Egg, Yeon accepted the Phoenix's quest of retrieving her third egg that had been stolen by low-level Rankers. After retrieving and returning the egg to her and the Egg successfully hatching, Yeon was given the honor of naming the newly born Phoenix due to him having saved it. Yeon thus then proceeded to name him "Chirpy" due to its adorable chirping sounds. Chirpy herself quickly bonded to both Yeon and his Mythical Beast and became close to them both in vice versa.
Later after her mother and sibling were slain by Saber God, Yeon became Chirpy's official owner and protector after being entrusted to him by his mother. Having quickly adapted to his new situation and quickly begun referring to Yeon as "Master". Yeon in turn has shown to become quite protective of Chirpy and has begun gradually power leveling her by feeding her the energies of the other four Mythical Beasts and the various souls he collected to further strengthen and develop his powers further.
Nemesis (Demonic Dragon)[]
After successfully hatching his mythical beast, the Dragon had initially believed Yeon to be his past owner, Cha Jeong-woo and acted quite friendly but slightly put offed by "Jeong's" change in demeanor and aura, but quickly assumed that it was because of what happened to him during Arthia's downfall. However, upon Yeon making it known that he was not his brother, Neiden (Nemesis) immediately became hostile. However upon Yeon explaining what happened and telling him his goal of vengeance against those who wronged, abandoned, and betrayed his twin brother, he was quick to side with him and immediately acknowledged him as his new Master, and asked him to give him a name so that they could sign a contract. However, he showed obvious annoyance at Yeon's attempts of naming him "Growl" and "Roar" and initially assumed that he was acting condescending and annoying on purpose before realizing Yeon did genuinely like these names. Causing the dragon much frustration due to his childish imagination in naming and constantly demand him to give him a better name. Eventually, Yeon settled in giving him the temporary name of Krrung, causing the dragon much annoyance and displeasure.
Eventually, Yeon successfully gave him the proper name of Nemesis, the Greek God of Vengeance, in hopes of the God giving him his divine blessings and power to further strengthen the Dragon's power.
Four Legendary Beasts[]
Phoenix[]
Yeon-woo was shown to have developed strong friendship with the Phoenix that ruled over the Southern Land of the 11th Floor. When first meeting her and noticing that she was guarding her two remaining eggs after one of them was stolen, Yeon-woo offered to return it for her. After successfully doing so, Yeon-woo was shown to be happy for the Phoenix after seeing her tearful happiness at having her child returned to her that reminded him of his own mother's love for him and his brother.
The Phoenix would later become a friend of Yeon-woo and provide him with her insight regarding the Cast of the Black King, Vigrid, and Aegis. Later, in gratitude for saving her child, she allowed him to give her newborn son a name, however, the Phoenix herself would be shell shocked that the name he thought off was something as childish as "Chirpy".
Later after Yeon-woo realized that Chirpy was in distress, he immediately ran to the Phoenix's mountain to help them. After her death, Yeon-woo was enraged to learn of what happened to them and immediately left the One-Horned Tribe and by extension Cheonghwado due to the Saber God having killed her and her two sons and orphaning Chirpy and vowed to avenge them.
The Phoenix herself has come to deeply trust Yeon-woo and before departing completely, her spirit requested for him to care for and raise her surviving child in her stead due to knowing that her next reincarnation would have a different sense of "self" from her and no longer see him as her child. Yeon-woo would accept this final request in honor of her.
Shadows of the 21st Floor[]
During Yeon's Clearing of the 21st Floor's trial against the Shadow's of the other Highest Ranked Rankers in the Tower's Records and History, Yeon was shown to have developed an interest in them due to realizing that the Shadows had the possibility of developing Ego's of their own by awakening the copied will's and consciousness from the mind of the original during their own trial in the 21st Floor.
Shadow of Cha Jeong-woo[]
During his duel against the Shadow made from the data of his brother Jeong, Yeon took immense pleasure fighting against him due to feeling close to his brother once more when battling against him and later described their destructive fight to be incredibly fun and intensifying his sense of loss at his brother's death and his deep longing for him.
However, upon realizing that the Shadow, may have inherited his brother's memories, will, and consciousness, Yeon had actively begun obsessing in retaking the trial of the 21st Floor over and over again due to realizing that he could potentially resurrect Jeong by fully awakening the Shadow's copied consciousness and views it as a way to regain his lost sibling. However, upon seeing that Shadow are essentially nothing more than semblances of the most prevailing thoughts, feelings and obsession at the time of the true Rankers trial on the 21st Floor, Yeon lost interest in acquiring Jeong's shadow and instead chose to accept his death in full.
Shadow of Nayu[]
During the trial of the 21st Floor, Yeon showed active surprise upon seeing the shadow of the Martial King showcasing his own sense of consciousness and individualism due to having successfully inherited and awakened his copied will of the original Martial King at the time of his own trial in the 21st Floor. And later during his battle against it, Yeon has shown active interest in fighting and defeating him and possibly acquire the shadow to further increase his power. However, upon seeing that the Martial King's shadow was essentially nothing more than a small fragment of the Martial King's obsession to beat All For One, during his own trial on the 21st Floor and realizing that he won't become any stronger than he was when he was copied, Yeon lost interest in him.
Enemies[]
Bild[]
Bild was present when Jeong-woo was killed by Leonte and was smirking at him as laid dying on the ground. When the two met Yeon-Woo took his time torturing Bild for information and then left him for the vengeful souls of his victims. Yeon himself was seen to active pleasure in Bild's suffering and enjoyed watching him die and prolonging his suffering.
Leonte[]
Leonte is the one who killed Jeong-woo thus he is one of the targets of Yeon-Woo revenge. He was later killed by Cain(Yeon woo cha) during the war and his soul was harvested. After the war Yeon-Woo interrogates him. At first Leonte was shocked and at disbelief that Jeong-woo was alive as he was the one who killed him. Hearing Leonte admitting his murder of his brother made Yeon-Woo angry and tortured Leonte for some time. After extracting everything of value Yeon-Woo ordered Boo to eat Leonte's soul.
Bahal[]
Bahal was a former member of Arthia but betrayed the clan and Jeong-woo thus making him a target of Yeon-Woo revenge. Without knowing who Yeon-Woo was as he used the name Cain and was a friend of his former master Henova, Bahal was interested in Yeon-Woo. Yeon Woo killed Bahal during the war and showed him his face before he died which shocked him. After Yeon-Woo harvested his soul he then proceeded to interrogate him, where somewhere along this time, Bahal successfully figured out that Yeon was not Jeong. Non the less, Yeon still viciously and painfully tortured him for information before then ordering Shanon to devour his soul and increase his power.
Summer Queen[]
The Summer Queen is the leader of the Red Dragon Clan which opposed Arthia. Also, she is one of five people who drove their swords into Jeong-woo heart. Thus she is one of many targets of Yeon-Woo revenge. He temporarily joined her clan as a mercenary to further his goal. There he saw her among her followers in the form of a young cute girl. Yeon-Woo used her clan to increase his strength and power then turned against them when they were fighting the Azure Sword Clan. Unknown to her the Philosopher stone she wanted to have in order to restore her powers, which were broken due to her fight with Jeong-woo breaking her own Dragon Heart, was already taken and bonded to Yeon-Woo.
Currently, Yeon intends to take full advantage of her situation with her dwindling power loss over her fracturing Dragon Heart for his own ends and plans on disposing of her after using her and her clan, Red Dragon to destroy Walpurgisnacht and weaken the other top clans. Later Yeon released his own copy of the Emerald Tablet and mixed together with the formula for Demon Poison in it in order to poison her and manipulated her into attacking Walpurgisnacht.
Later after completing Red Dragon's quest of causing massive damage to Walpurgisnacht and the Queen confronting Yeon to obtain the Philosophers Stone and her getting into a fight with the Martial King when he appeared to defend his student, the Summer Queen came to the realization that Yeon was the one who set up the whole scenario and had completely played her. Causing her to then go into a homicidal rage and try to kill both him and the Martial King.
Later Yeon would personally land the finishing blows on the Summer Queen after she was weakened from fighting the Martial King, losing her power from her collapsing dragon heart, and being poisoned by Demon Poison. Yeon would then collect her dragon corpse and soul in his collection, where the Queen then viciously lashed out and tried to escape and kill him. However, upon Yeon showing her his face, she soon fell into shock and confusion due to thinking that he was Jeong-woo come back to life.
Later upon interrogating her about the reason why Jeong-woo had to die, The Summer Queen attempted to again attack Yeon only to be halted and restrained by the Despair of the Black King. Eventually, Yeon revealed his identity as Jeong's twin brother and made the Summer Queen realized why he harbored an intense hatred for her, causing her to curse him out as she should have killed him when she had the chance. Upon clearing up any misunderstanding between them, Yeon made it clear that he was going to slowly torture her as revenge. And although the Queen remained prideful and defiant, Yeon had already long since figure out how to torment her upon revealing her preserved corpse; He was going to target her immense pride as a dragon by butchering her corpse.
Yeon then took immense sadistic satisfaction as he begun to torture her soul by having her watch as he slowly desecrated her Dragon Corpse in front of her in order to use every bit of her body for materials. As seen where Yeon graphically explained of how he was going to gauge out her dragon eyes and use them as magic cores, tear out her scales and leather to turn into armor and grind her bones into weapons, causing the prideful dragoness to fall into hysterical despair and begged him to just kill her. Yeon even made a point of hinting that he may even just leave her bones behind in order to create a Bone Dragon Undead servant and force her to serve him as his slave even after death. Causing the Queen to fall into further hysterical agony due to the apparent disrespect Yeon has for the dead and the apparent lack of pride he has as a fellow Dragon Human to even consider doing such horrible things to a fellow Dragon. Yeon in turn is completely unaffected by her prideful logic and only focused on torturing her and getting information from her.
Later after summoning the husk of her soul to fight off One-for-All, The Sumer Queen agreed to assist him due to her grudge against One-For-All and her developing an attachment to both Yeon-woo and Jeong-woo. Later, she would assist Yeon-woo by healing his divine sickness after being briefly possessed by the "Demonism". The Summer Queen would later reveal that she was able to use a small portion of the Black King's power to manifest herself in the living world and made a point of coming and going as she pleases to argue/annoy Yeon-woo.
During the course of his revival of Arthia and declaring war against Elohim and the Devil Army, Ismenios was shown to now have become an unofficial familiar to Yeon-woo. Due to her soul not being as tightly bound to the Artifacts of the Black King, Ismenios was free to reject Yeon-woo's orders as she pleased. However, she non the less agreed to help him in his endeavors, This is seen where she pilot Laputa for him using her knowledge and power as a dragon and later personally lead the charge against Elohim during the raid in their Sub-Space Base. It was later revealed by Edora and Shanon that the Queen was doing this due to her desire to meet up with Jeong-woo once again if Yeon-woo succeeds in his plans to resurrect him. It was also implied that Ismenios herself was plotting to revive herself using the Black King's power through Yeon-woo.
Viera Dune[]
Former lover of Jeong-woo and one of the traitors who betrayed Arthia, drove a sword into the heart of Jeong-woo. She was the one who seduced Leonte into betraying Jeong-woo and killing him. Given her part in assisting in his brother's death, it's highly likely that Viera is one of Yeon's main targets to kill in his quest for revenge.
Later after learning of her having secretly had his brother Jeong's child, hiding it from him and then bringing her over to her Guild,Walpurgisnacht in order to experiment on her own daughter due to her status as a quarter bred dragon human, Viera Dune has now completely and utterly earned Yeon's complete hatred and contempt for her atrocious actions not only towards his brother but towards her own daughter.
Currently, Yeon has now chosen to target her as his next victim for his vendetta against the former members of Arthia. Since both acts of vengeance for his twin brother Jeong and revenge for how inhumanly she treated her own daughter, his niece, Sesha.
Later Yeon would take advantage of her Skill, [Body Transfer] to repeatedly kill her and take immense sadistic satisfaction as her ego and mind began breaking apart from the repeated brutal trauma he would inflict on her.
Later upon learning that she had "joined" with the primordial goddess, The Great Mother, Yeon-woo has now sworn to kill her and drag her back down to earth. He would continue to antagonize her and made a point of getting in her way and her plans.
As seen in his future confrontation against her, Yeon-woo's hatred and contempt for her only continued to increase, even more so do to her constant meddling with the Lower Floors and later her targeting him to steal the Throne of the Underworld and the power of the Black King from him by devouring his soul.
Gluttonous Emperor[]
The 'Gluttonous Emperor' tried to eat Jeong-woo as he wanted to eat dragon meat and was one of the five who drove a sword into his heart. Thus he is one of the targets of Yeon-Woo revenge. When Yeon-Woo went hunting the horned dragon he meets an envoy from the emperor who said he wanted to 'meet' Cain, Barham, and the dragon born (Sesa). Yeon-Woo realized that this intervention was nothing but a trap to catch and eat Sesa as the 'Gluttonous Emperor' still wanted to feast on the meat of a dragon.
During his trial on the 23rd Floor, The Emperor had sent one of his servants from his clan, Blood Land, to invite Yeon to have a meal with him in order to recruit him to his clan. Yeon in turn aware of his likely reason solely to devour either him or Sesha, made a point of actively avoiding the Emperor until he was strong enough to kill him.
Later upon actually seeing Yeon after the Summer Queen's death, alongside Martial King Nayu, The Gluttonous Emperor showed an active interest in Yeon and expressed jealousy at the Martial King due to him having three excellent disciples.
Later Yeon-woo would continue to manipulate him and Blood Land to orchestrate the raid and chaos within the 50th Floor after revealing the location of Kalatus's Grave. Later he would personally kill the Emperor, take his Soulstone, and slaughter all of the higher-ranked members of Blood Land with immense personal pleasure.
Zang Wei[]
Both Zang Wei and Yeon-Woo were part of the same squad in the military during their time in Africa. Yeon-Woo dates his sister for some time, but they broke up eventually. Zang Wei would kill his own sister to see or prove that Yeon-Woo who was known as Cain during his time in the military could feel something as he was cold toward everyone. This prompted Yeon-Woo to hunt him down to kill him. However, Zang Wei escaped and somehow ended up in the world of the Obelisk where he worked as a mercenary for the Red Dragon.
Zang Wei in return, due to his extremely masochistic and adrenaline-near-death-seeking tendencies, possesses a very strong fixation with Yeon and was ecstatic to know that he was also present in the Tower. After fleeing the scene of the Summer Queen's death and piecing together Yeon's identity, Zang Wei had completely shifted his focus from the Martial King to Yeon and will now begin to target him once the pursuit from the One-Horned Tribe dies down.
Kindred[]
Yeon due to reading his brother's journal, was fully aware of how dangerous and unpredictable Kindred was the moment he saw and identified him during his trial in the five mountains of penance on the 20th Floor and was on guard against him during their first meeting.
Later after the debacle of Kindred tricking Yeon, Victoria, Rebecca, Sol Luna, and Khan into entering into the dungeon as test guinea pigs. Yeon now considers him an enemy and agreed with Victoria and Khan that he would like to get even against her one day. And upon his attempt to acquire Sesha and fatally injuring Brahm during the events of the Demon Forest, Yeon now truly considers Kindred an Enemy.
During their second meeting in the siege against Walpurgisnacht, Kindred made it known that the "Heavenly Demon" of the Devil Army has made it known that he would like to acquire Yeon for himself. Leading to Kindred attempting to convince him to willingly join him and accept their offer. With Kindred truly believing that their meetings were fate and predestined by the Heavenly Demon and thus believed Yeon would come with him without a second thought due to his zealotry and believing them to be "brothers" due to him having also acquired the Monkey King's Inheritance and became one of his Descendants and promised to satisfy his desires if he joined.
Yeon in turn already despising him for his previous actions and disliking him for his blind faith and obedience to the Heavenly Demon, flatly rejected his offer. Causing Kindred to become enraged due to him believing had no choice in the matter and made it clear that he would use extreme violence and forced to make him come with him. Yeon in turn aware of the hostile relationship between him and the Head Bishop of the Devil Army and the Devil Army's part in Arthia downfall, Has showed obvious contempt for Kindred and had no interest in joining him.
Later after unleashing [Meteor Strike] against the Brocken Castle and attacking Kindred with several other smaller Meteor's, Kindred has now begun to actively hate Yeon and swore to hunt him down and kill him. Yeon in turn was amused by him having been severely injured and compared his vitality and recovery ability as akin to a cockroach. Later Yeon took pleasure in knowing that even if Kindred's actual body wasn't destroyed, the mental and psychological damage to his mind would weaken and injure him.
As seen due to Kindred's continued humiliation by the hands of Yeon-woo in each of and every one of their battles, Kindred now holds a deep grudge against him and desires to him himself and tear him to pieces. Yeon-woo in turn is largely unaffected by Kindred's hatred and enjoys belittling him.
Highl[]
Highl is the first bishop and leader of the Devil Army, Yeon-woo holds him in contempt due to him having been one of the main spearheads of the war of Arthia and was known to have had an extremely bad relationship with his younger brother, Jeong-woo.
When they first met, Yeon-woo directly combated Highl when he was possessing Doyle's body in his attempt to absorb the Monkey King's Shedding, Yeon-woo would develop an antagonistic relationship with the First Bishop. Highl in turn seeing Yeon-woo's immense power, was interested in him and offered him a position as a Bishop within the Devil Army, making a point of toying with Yeon-woo due to his own raw power eclipsing his own.
However upon Yeon-woo unexpectedly gaining a massive power boost by accepting the thousands of authorities offered to him by the Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor of the Obelisk, successfully defeating the Bishop. Due to him having foiled their plans of making Highl another "face" of their "patron" the Heavenly Demon, Highl has officially declared a holy war against Yeon-woo.
During their next battle on the 50th Floor, Highl is still attempting to recruit (or force) Yeon-woo to the Devil Army, Due to him having absorbed the shedding of the Monkey and thus it is now possible for him to become another face of the Heavenly Demon and thus invaluable to the Devil Army.
Bayluk[]
The alchemist of poison and one of the best toxicologists within the Tower and a former member of Arthia and former companion to Jeong-woo, and he had a poisonous air around him that could get someone sick just by walking next to him. One breath of his could kill an entire tree. Bayluk had created the extreme poison that ate away at his brother’s body until the end. It was also Bayluk who pierced his heart and killed players who wanted to help him. Leonte and Bahal had rebelled with other forces, but Bayluk and Vieira Dune had the biggest hand in bringing his brother down.
Bayluk in particular would play a major role in weakening the already badly cornered Arthia by poisoning and assassinating all of Jeong-woo's potential allies and any other Ranker who wanted to help him. Leading to Jeong-woo's forces being badly depleted and prevented any new allies from joining him.
Like Viera, Bahal, and Leonte, Bayluk is one of Yeon-woo's main targets in his vendetta and is now currently plotting to kill him once he locates him.
Later after Bayluk revealed himself, Yeon-woo contempt and hatred for him increased after he revealed the full extent of his betrayal against Jeong-woo. During Arthia's revival, Bayluk revealed that the sole reason he joined Arthia was due to his desire to turn Jeong-woo into his personal guinea pig due to deeming that he was the closest mortal to ever becoming a Divine Human, and had originally planned to poison him to the point that he was defenseless in order to capture him after baiting Valebich to leave his side. Later after Jeong-woo's death, Bayluk made a point to further sully his memory by collecting his DNA in order to create numerous Homunculus Clones of Jeong-woo, of which Bayluk treated as nothing more than disposable pawns, increasing Yeon-woo hatred for him.
Upon raiding Elohim's Sub-space and locating Bayluk, Yeon-woo made a point of attacking him directly, where he then made a point of painfully torturing him using his fire and poison to repeatedly destroy his body over and over by taking advantage of his immortality given to him by the Outer God. Later Yeon-woo even outright stated that he planned to completely lobotomize Bayluk, take all of his knowledge, before then handing him over to Boo and Brahm to be a test subject until he dies and then torture him repeatedly as a soul using the soul collection of the Black King.
After capturing Bayluk's soul, Yeon-woo successfully began taking his knowledge gained from Crawling Chaos, completely breaking Bayluk's spirit and causing him to be him to just release his soul or destroy it to make the pain stop. Yeon-woo, untouched by his begging, made it clear he planned to continue torturing him till the end of time.
Benteke[]
Mercenary Alliance[]
Due to Yeon-woo having single-handedly defeated the alliance of clans that came to the 20th Floor to captured Kahn and him having slaughtered numerous members of Iron Lion and the Devil Army, destroying Necropolis and his other battles(massacres) against numerous other clans such as Triton (Clan), All of Yeon-woo's enemies have gathered together for the sole sake of killing him. Eventually creating a gigantic large-scale alliance that they unofficially dubbed the "Anti-Hoarder Alliance".
This has effectively caused Iron Lion, the remnants of Triton (Clan), the remnants of Necropolis and the Magic Tower schools to team up together to get their revenge against him. With at least two of the Top Eighth Clans having been implied to have also agreed to help them wage war against him.
Floor Managers[]
Yvlke[]
The manager of the 0 floors. He became very interested in Yeon-Woo after seeing him advance greatly despite arriving one week late to the tutorial. After Yeon-Woo entered the tower he started betting on Yeon-Woo against the other managers of the beginner zone which he won them all.
Currently, Yvlke has shown active interest in Yeon due to his actions within the Tower's Floors and his unbelievable accomplishments and was seen to have assisted Yeon during his critically fatal condition after absorbing a considerable amount of Agares's Demonic Power and demon factor. With Yvlke helping him stabilize his Demonic-Dragonic Body by restoring its balance by balancing his dragon factor to be equal to his demon factor.
Aaron[]
Aaron did not think much of Yeon-Woo when they meet for the first time and Yeon-Woo did not give much attention to Aaron. Aaron lost the bet he made with Yvlke about Yeon-Woo. When Yeon-Woo decided to take his rewards after completing the beginner zone. Later, Aaron was shown to be one of many who are in a state of depression due to losing their bets with Yvlke over Yeon-Woo.
Laplace[]
Laplace is one of the Twelve Zodiac managers. He heard a lot about Cain so he decided to meet and swapped with the manager of the 11th-floor manager to do so. It seems he did the same thing when Cain was on the 12th floor when he delivered a message from a demon. However, Cain did not think much of Laplace as he did not listen to everything he told him about the 11th floor, but he was surprised when he learned that Laplace was detained by another manager.
Lupi[]
Lupi is one of the Twelve Zodiac Managers and similar to his colleague Laplace, Lupi has seemingly developed an interest in Yeon due to the upheaval he has done to the Obelisk and the continued outrageous accomplishments he has managed to acquire in the Tower's records. As seen where he went to personally greet him in the 21st Floor. Yeon in turn has shown active wariness and guard against the Zodiac due to knowing of his true personality and typically hedonistic intentions despite his act of pretending to be a shy cry baby.
Fantasy Regiment[]
Leonhart[]
Due to knowing that Leonhart was a former member of Arthia and one of those who abandoned Jeong-woo during the clan's downfall and left him to die on his own, Yeon-woo possesses an extremely negative perception of Leonhart. Viewing him in the same light as Bahal and Leonte.
Leonhart himself would mistakenly think that Yeon-woo was Jeong-woo upon taking notice of Yeon-woo's achievements as the "Hoarder" and noticing how their eyes and physical builds were identical despite wearing a mask. Making him think that Jeong-woo had survived his fatal injuries. This in turn spurred Leonhart to begin building the "Fantasy Regiment" and offer their aid to him in an attempt to make up for his past mistakes to "Jeong-woo".
Leonhart then ordered his subordinates to help "The Hoarder" through any means necessary and treat him with the utmost respect.
Later, however, upon actually meeting him and learning of his deep regret for his actions and his sincerity in wanting to make up for it upon revealing his face. However despite not actively betraying Jeong-woo, Leonhart still abandoned him when he needed the people he cared about the most to be beside his side in the end, causing Yeon-woo to actively despise him and scorned his attempt to offer him and the Fantasy Regiments help and told him to stay away from him, unless he wished to test Yeon-woo's self-control and warns him that he might kill him in a rage if he continued to try and help him. Yeon-woo himself has later categorized Leonhart as someone that he resented but could not hate.
Gods and Devils[]
Due to his outstanding accomplishments in each and every Floor Trial that he had accomplished since he began mastering Mugong with the One-Horned Tribe and their ability to observe him anytime within their position within the 98th Floor of the Tower and piecing together his relationship with "Heaven Wing", Many of the various High-Level Godly Pantheons and High-Level Demon societies of the Tower have become immensely interested in him and a few of the most high-level gods and demons have even desired and considered to make him their apostle. And upon the debacle with Agares and Hermes destroying the 23rd Floor fighting over him and him binding the former God, Brahm to him as his servant. Many of the Pantheons and Demon Societies Deva, Asgard, Olympus, Le Infernal, Malak and Jeolgyo have personally requested for him to enter into a provisional contract with them and offering him immense Powers, God Level Equipment, Skills, and Influence over the Higher/Lower Floors as their personal Apostle of either themselves or their Pantheons.
Its been stated that over 41 Gods and 55 High-Level Demons, a total of 96 immortals from the 98th Floor have all become interested in him and offered him to become their Apostle. Later upon Yeon manipulating them into giving him gifts instead, he successfully conned them into offering him a variety of different God-Level equipment and Powers in order to make a connection with him.
Due to his continued mind-blowing achievements, as he rises up the tower that could potentially destroy the balance of power within the Tower, many of the Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor are now closely monitoring his actions and are shown to be continuously shocked by his achievements.
- Gods and Demons of Death: Yeon-woo would soon develop a unique relationship with a specific faction/type of Gods/goddesses and Demons within the 98th Floor. During his immense progression and mastery over manipulating the Dead and Souls as he begun clearing through the Tower's 26th to 27th Floors, numerous Gods and Demons related to/close to death have begun becoming fixated and amazed at Yeon-woo's progress at his mastery over "Death" and his apparent tendency to commit cold-blooded wholesome slaughter whenever he enters into the Floors of the Tower, as seen where several of them where impressed by his slaughter of the Monster Legions within the 26th Floor and his massacring of the Cannibal Monster Humans in cold blood in the 27th Floor. Many of them have become delighted at his progress to the point that they have begun fighting over him. Currently, Yeon-woo has received over 500 offers from the Gods and Demons of Death to use their authority. As seen with his second widespread massacre of killing the Player of the alliance of Necropolis, Iron Lion, Chest of Soul and the Devil Army, the Gods and Demons of Death's favor of Yeon-woo increased further and they have officially acknowledged him as the successor to the Black King and offered him even more Authorities.
- Gods and Demons of War: As seen in his slaughter of Necropolis, Iron Lion and the Chest of Souls using his Undead Armies and personally killing the upper echelons of the Devil Army singlehandedly, Yeon-woo has also begun gaining the attention of the many Gods and Demons that are attributed to war. As seen where many of them had begun taking serious notice of him and have begun joining in having him as their Apostle and offering him their Godly Authorities.
Hermes[]
Hermes was the first god to meet and offer Yeon-Woo to make him his apostle. Despite being refused Hermes continued to help Yeon-Woo going so far as to respond to his call to fight Agaras. Although unknown exactly why it's been shown that Hermes himself places special attention on Yeon. As seen where he subtly threatened Urdr to stay away from him and later was shown to actively take pride in Yeon's accomplishments. Urdr herself noted that Hermes possessed a strong genuine sense of protectiveness for Yeon and was seen to have an almost familial view of him.
Later during Grand Duke Agares's descend to the 23rd Floor to collect, Cha Jeong-woo "remains" as a trophy prize and him soon becoming fixated on Yeon due to him being identical twins to Jeong. Yeon called upon Hermes to fight Agares on his behave, a call that Hermes wholeheartedly agreed to. Currently, Yeon has admitted that out of all the gods he had interacted with, he felt closest with Hermes due to the more positive treatment the god has given him in comparison to his peers.
Athena[]
Upon Yeon's gradual increase in power and skill and his incredibly advanced rise to power by collecting and hoarding of hidden pieces, secret knowledge and acquirement of powerful artifacts and skills and even the obtainment of her own artifact, Aegis. Athena was noted to have become interested in Yeon and was implied to also desire him to become her apostle.
Later during his confrontation against Agares, Athena had accompanied Hermes to help him fend off the obsessive demon. With her having personally given him her divine blessing to empower him and protect his allies against the God-Demon Battle's destructive shockwaves from killing them. Later it was revealed that Athena had developed a strong sense of admiration towards him for his love for his niece, Sesha, and offered him a new skill to replace the lost Aegis.
As seen from Yeon-woo's numerous achievements from the Tower's Trials on each Floor and the gradual dramatic increase of his power every single time, Athena has displayed pride, care, and even maternal love for him during the notifications of her reactions from the 98th Floor of the Tower. Later it was stated that Athena herself sees Yeon-woo as her own child and cares and values him in the same light as her own Apostle.
Monkey King (Shedding)[]
After successfully completing the Monkey King's Palace Quest, Yeon-woo meets the shedding of the Monkey King that was located within the Five Mountains of Penance, Yeon-woo was noted to have been amazed at the massive amount of power that this being possessed despite only being a "shedding" left behind by the actual Monkey King.
Yeon-woo would later absorb this shedding during the Devil Army's attempt to make their Head Bishop,Highl another facet of the Heavenly Demon. Successfully inhering all of the Shedding's abilities and potential in developing the 72 Bian arts and successfully gaining a deeper understanding of them as well as gaining much more control and access to the powers of the Ryu Bang fragments. Yeon-woo himself would develop a friendly relationship with the shedding and promised to revive him properly after absorbing him and agreed to take revenge on his behalf against Kindred. Due to absorbing the Monkey King's visage, Yeon-woo also caught glimpses of the original Monkey King's memories.
Since he absorbed the Shedding, it is now possible for Yeon-woo to evolve into another "face" of the Heavenly Demon should he desire it.
Dionysus[]
Similar to his brother, Hermes and his sister, Athena, Dionysus was noted to have also taken an interest in Yeon due to his rapid rise to power and his obtaining of all the Hidden Pieces, Secret Knowledge and acquirement of powerful artifacts and skills in advanced despite his relative newness to the Obelisk. Its been implied by Hermes that Dionysus is similarly interested in making Yeon his apostle if possible.
During the Giant attack on Tartarus, Dionysus would lend his assistance in helping Yeon-woo escape alongside Artemis, Apollo, and Ares.
Ares[]
Similar to his siblings, Ares was stated to have become similarly interested in Yeon due to his incredible accomplishments since entering into the Tower by Hermes, and like Athena and Dionysus would like him to become his servant or apostle.
Later after the debacle of Agares and Hermes Battle on the 23rd Floor, Ares was one of the many Gods who wanted Yeon to become his new Apostle and was even stated to have been willing to cut off his current contract with his current Apostle in order to make room for Yeon and later expressed extreme outrage when he denied his offer. Later it was implied that Ares was one of the many Gods and Demons who offered Yeon several of his most powerful Skills, God Equipment and Powers as a gift to become closer to him and later expressed extreme annoyance and disappointment on him not choosing it.
As seen during the events of the Giants and Titan's attempt to escape and takeover Tartarus, Ares himself is also infatuated with Yeon-woo and attempted to get his attention and impress him to become his Apostle by showing off his powers when fighting Typhoon.
Thanatos[]
During Yeon-woo increased mastery over his powers and skills with manipulating Death and Souls, Thanatos was one of the many Gods and Demons close to/related to Death that had begun becoming amazed and interested in his progress. This is seen where Thanatos was stated to take active Glee at Yeon-woo's progression as he cleared the Tower's Floors.
Great Mother[]
A God with many names and faces like the Heavenly Demon Monkey King. The master of Viera Dune under the name Great Mother created the witches in the endless world of night and became a god herself under Viera Dune's influence of mind control.
Urd, Skuld and Verdandi[]
Urd was interested in Yeon-Woo at first and attempted to manipulate and emotionally abuse him to avenger her younger sister Skuld, after he attacked her temple and use him as a pawn for her plans. Initially, Urd, was confident that she had successfully manipulated him after showing him his past and preying on his paranoia and fear of being betrayed and was confident that she could reign him in as another one of her servants. However, after learning that other gods and devils were also interested in making him "theirs" and being personally threatened by Hermes in her own Temple to stay away from him, she decided to destroy him rather than see him be taken by another. Her attempt failed and cost her her apostle. This caused her to hold a grudge against Yeon-Woo which grew after he feeds the soul of her apostle to Rebecca. Urd has since then tried to encourage several gods to go against Yeon-Woo.
Additionally, Skuld was also known to have developed a dislike and grudge against Yeon, due to him blatantly attacking her temple and killing her servants during a mission for Red Dragon to retrieve Saber God's son. Urd was later shown to have taken this to consideration and attempted to avenge her younger sister against Yeon later on.
And upon Yeon killing and taking the soul of Urdr's apostle and taking her holy power with him, Verdandi was shown to have now completely joined her two sisters' in attacking Yeon for vengeance. As seen where all three Goddess commanded and ordered their Knights to track down and kill him and hired thousands of mercenaries to attack him as well to avenge themselves. However, all these attempts ended in failure and only served to further strengthen Yeon and weakened their own forces and finances and losing their credibility due to no one no longer accepting their request to kill Yeon due to the sheer number of assassins and mercenaries he had already killed. Thus the three goddesses have now decided to stop for the moment and wait for a chance to kill him instead and regain their lost powers and resources.
Cernnunos[]
Cernnunos is the god of Rebecca who was part of the party that entered the Monkey King Palace on the 20th floor. After Rebecca's death, her soul was claimed by her god. However, Yeon-Woo used many souls from his collection of souls to reanimate her body and then transform her into a spirit which greatly angered Cernnunos, much to the delight of the devils, to the point of Yeon-Woo feeling the air around him becoming heavier.
When Urd tried to convince him to make a move against Yeon-Woo he was rejected. Also, Cernnunos did not take back the power and blessings he gave to Rebecca after she was reanimated and turned into a spirit. It was later revealed that similar to the other Gods and Demons, Cernnunos has become curious about Yeon and his activities and has instead ordered Rebecca to observe him closely for him.
Unlike the other gods and demons, he did not try nor wanted to make Yeon-Woo his apostle. Later due to Yeon-woo actions beginning to have serious threats and repercussions to the various Godly and Demonic Societies, Cernunnos chose to leave his own pantheon and walk on his own in order to continue supporting him with no interference from the other gods of his pantheon.
Agares[]
Yeon-woo confronted Agares on the 23rd floor when Agares was trying to eat Sesha. Since he was intrigued and interested in Jeong-woo for having dragon bloodline but in the end was unable to get him. However despite being continuously rejected and Jeong's own death, Agares never once gave up his obsession. This is seen when he saw hope when he saw Yeon-woo. Initially, he offered Yeon the same offer of allowing him full access to the entirety of his power as a Grand Duke and shoulder all of the consequences for using his power's on the lower floors and later he even offered double the initial power he offered Jeon-woo if he handed over his niece Sesha to him instead due to wanting to have "something" to remind him of Jeong-woo. Later upon being rejected b Yeon-woo, Agares himself even went as far as forcibly trying to put Yeon-woo under his control by forcibly taking control of his soul and later even caused him to battle against Hermes, when he was summoned by Yeon due to refusing to give up. Later after being severely injured by Yeon-woo and Hermes and his being forcibly ejected back to the 98th Floor, Agares even went as far as trying to forcibly drag Yeon-Woo with him back to his territory to the 98th Floor, but failed to do so.
Later despite failing to "own" him and drag him into his home on the 98th Floor, Agares was stated to still not have given up on obtaining Yeon and was the very first high-level demon to offer him one of his high-level skills. Later he was seen to have rejoiced upon him not rejecting his offering and began mocking/bragging to the other demons when Yeon-woo decided to accept his gift over their own offerings.
Later after his creation of an artificial high low Demon on the 21st Floor, Agares was stated to have begun becoming even more avaricious in acquiring Yeon.
Agares's continued obsession is seen during his messages during Yeon's continued progression and increase in power as he climbed the Tower, where Agares repeatedly picked fights with and yelled at the other Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor not to get Greedy with Yeon due to still considering him "his". Upon Yeon-woo's continued increase of power and infamy to the 98th Floor of the Obelisk, Agares has been noted to have only become even more infatuated with Yeon-woo and more obsessed with acquiring his and Jeong-woo's souls for himself despite the fact that Yeon-woo's own power has already begun to eclipse his own.
Shiva[]
After the events of the 23rd Floor regarding Agares and Hermes fighting over him and the former god Brahm, becoming his servant. Shiva was one of the many Gods to have become interested in Yeon and offered him a provisional Contract to become his Apostle and was stated to be fully prepared to abandon his current Apostle and remove his contract with them to make room for Yeon.
Heimdall[]
After the events of the 23rd Floor, Heimdall of Asgard was one of the numerous Gods to now show interest in Yeon and was stated to have strongly requested to his other fellow Asgardian Gods to make him their Apostle. Later after Yeon rejected their offers of a provisional Contract, Heimdall was one of the numerous Gods to offer Yeon his most powerful skills and god-level items as a gift to become connected to him. With him having offered him the Skills "Tone of the End" and the God Level Item, "Gjallarhorn".
Galaganta[]
Like many of the Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor, Galagnata has now become similarly interested in Yeon after the events of the 23rd floor and attempted to offer him a provisional contract to become his apostle. Later Galaganta was one of the many demons to try and persuade Yeon to reconsider after he rejected their offers and was one of the many Demons and Gods to offer him gifts instead to become closer to him. Galaganta in particular offered him the skill,"Great Hail" and the God-level Item, "Flood Sword".
Vimazildara[]
Another Demon of Jie Sect that had shown interest in Yeon-woo during his progression in mastering his skills and power over Death and Souls. Having been shown to have become actively interested and amazed at Yeon-woo's progress at having begun observing him with interest.
As seen during Yeon-woo's many battles, Vimalacitra has become one of Yeon-woo's most adamant supporters within the 98th Floor. As seen where he would give him some of his most powerful [Powers] and [Authorities] for his own personal use and expressed support for even his most outrageous actions and decisions, even his choices of actively antagonizing the entirety of the 98th floor. In fact, Vimalacitra himself chosed to abandon his Demonic Society and stand on his own in order to continue supporting Yeon-woo without having to worry of interference from the other demons of his society.
Azrael[]
Its been stated that Azarel has long since been interested in Yeon due to his use of Despair of the Black King and has been observing him since he began using it. Like many of the other high-level Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor, Azarel has now become actively interested in Yeon after the events of the 23rd Floor and was one of the gods that offered him immense power and enter into a provisional contract with him. Azarel was also noted to have urged him to accept his own proposal.
Later after Yeon made it clear that he would only accept gifts, he was one of the many gods and demons that offered him one. The Skill he offered being the enhancement of Yeon mastery over the dead and usage of the Despair of the Black King. When Yeon accepted his gift, Azarel was pleased.
Later after successfully creating an Artificial High Low Demon using the Power, he provided him, Azarel was stated to now actively desire Yeon even more.
During his increased mastery of the Power given to him by Azarel, [3rd Spirit], Azarel had become increasingly delighted and happy by Yeon-woo's progress and increase in power. As seen where he was shown to repeatedly strengthen his blessing given to Yeon-woo and further empower the Skill he gave him. Yeon-woo himself noted that Azarel now basically sees him as his Apostle and constantly sends him messages to officially accept the position.
As seen, Azrael sees Yeon-woo as the "messenger" to his master the Black King, and sees it his responsibility as his servant to "guide" Yeon-woo to his destiny as his servant. This has caused Azrael to feel a mix of jealousy, joy, annoyance, and admiration of Yeon-woo due to being "chosen". Later after the battle against Triton and Poseidon, Azrael would later try to forcibly make Yeon-woo into his Apostle while he was knocked out from exhaustion.
However, The Demonism residing within Yeon-woo would instead devour and absorb Azarel into themselves in retaliation to increase their power.
Jormungader[]
Similar to the gods of Asgard and his fellow demons, Jormungader was stated to have now become similarly interested in Yeon after the events of the debacle with Agares and Hermes on the 23rd Floor.
Dantalion[]
Similar to the other High-level Demons & Gods of the 98th Floor, Dantalion has become deeply interested in Yeon after the events of the 98th floor and offered him a provisional contract to work under him. Dantalion in particular was noted to have become similarly fixated in Yeon and attempted to convince Yeon to change his mind after he rejected their offer of a provisional contract with him.
Amon[]
Although his initial thoughts are unknown, after the events of the 23rd Floor and Brahm becoming Yeon's servant, Amon has now begun paying more attention to Yeon and observe him with active interest.
Tao Wu[]
After the events of the 23rd Floors debacle and Brahm now working under Yeon, Tao was one of the many demons that were impressed by Yeon's heretical actions and offered him immense power and work under him. Tao in particular was noted to have become slightly fixated on Yeon and licked his lips in anticipation of him possibly accepting his offer.
Chaos[]
After successfully creating an artificially High-Level Low Demon within the 21st Floor, Chaos was one of the many demons who have now begun desiring to recruit Yeon and was stated to show obvious delight at Yeon's accomplishments. Later Chaos was one of the many dangerous Demons to have begun delighting in his progress of powers and one of the dangerous demons that have begun favoring him.
Hondon[]
Its been stated that like many of the Gods and Demons within the 98th Floor of the Obelisk who had become interested in Yeon-woo after his accomplishments of overpowering Agares in the Demon's Forest and his successful incarnation of Brahm as his spirit familiar. Later after the incident, Hondon would later be one of the many High Ranked Demons and Gods to offer his Authority and Powers to him as a gift to become close to him and keep a close eye on him and his activities, he would then offer the skill "Faceless Law" as a gift to Yeon-woo that would then accept and use as one of his first five authorities.
Later, as seen from Yeon-woo confrontation against Poseidon and him calling upon divine/demonic assistance from the 98th Floor, Hondon made himself known and revealed that he also desired to make him his Apostle.
Agni[]
After the debacle of the 23rd Floor involving Agares and Hermes and after Brahm, the former god Brahma becoming Yeon servant. Agni was one of the numerous Gods offering him power and become his subordinate. It was later shown that Agni was deeply invested in convincing Yeon to accept his offer and felt immensely angered by him rejecting his offer to the point of trying to locate a portal to the 24th floor himself to confront him.
Poseidon[]
After defeating his powerful servant the Kraken by solo playing without any form of backup whatsoever despite its power. Poseidon was genuinely surprised at his power and like his nephews and niece began seriously considering offering Yeon his power and position as his Apostle and watching over him more closely.
Later after Yeon's actions of binding the Former God, Brahm to him as his new servant. Poseidon was stated to have taken offense at his actions and retreated his original good view of him and now considers him having dirtied the honor of the Gods due to his actions.
Later after his successful creation of an Artificial High Lowe Demon, Poseidon has begun having a serious discussion regarding Yeon with another being and was stated to have a reserved opinion regarding him.
Later after Yeon realized that Viera Dune had successfully become a God after "eating" her Patron Goddess, the "Great Mother" and Yeon making it known that he was going to kill her. Poseidon has now completely become hostile to Yeon and deeming him to be beyond arrogant and is now actively working against him.
It was later implied and shown that Poseidon had gathered his followers and created a new emerging clan,Triton to destroy and punish Yeon-woo.
Later their relationship would grow even worse after Yeon-woo would take Poseidon's divine artifact, Triania, and used it to create the "Grief of the Black King". Later Yeon-woo has now enraged Poseidon even more by devouring parts of his Holy Power through his Apostle Bentenke and plans to steal all of it from him.
Poseidon would later be shown to be continuously furious and angry for Yeon-woo due to the continued targeting of his Clan, Triton and his continued theft of the Holy Powers of the Apostles from his children.
- Poseidon's Children/Followers: As Poseidon is one of the first Olympian Gods and one of the most powerful, he has numerous Sea-Based Gods working under him, a majority of whom are his own children. Due to their father's continued antagonism for him, Yeon-woo has also made effective enemies of Poseidon's faction of Gods in Olympus.

Nemesis[]
Currently, Yeon also possesses an odd relationship with Nemesis, the Greek God of Revenge due to him having named his Demonic Dragon Familiar after the God in hopes of obtaining his Divine blessing and Authority to boost his combat power. Although despite the usual punishment of having mortals use a God's name without permission, Nemesis has currently taken a neutral stance on Yeon's choice of using his name and to a degree has allowed him to do so. Albeit it has been shown that he is keeping a close eye on himself and his activities.
Nike[]
Similar to Nemesis, Yeon also has an odd relationship with Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory due to his usage of her name in renaming his familiar Phoenix, Chirpy. With Yeon having selected her name in the hopes that she would bless the beast with her Holy Power and Divine Authority. Like Nemesis, Nike has shown to not have taken active aggressive actions against Yeon but has also likely now begun closely monitoring his activities due to him now making use of her name.
Anubis[]
During Yeon-woo increase in his proficiency with his Death and Soul manipulation Skills and his brutality at killing and slaughtering his enemies, Anubis is one of the many Gods and Demons who are related/close to death that have become interested in Yeon-woo. This is seen where he was watching his progress as he made his way through the River of Souls on the 27th Floor.
Giltine[]
During Yeon-woo increase in his mastery over Death and Soul manipulation Skills and Powers, Giltine was one of the many Gods and Demons related to close/related to death to have become interested in him. This is seen where Giltine apparently showed satisfaction at Yeon's continued progress through the Tower's Trials.
Ankou[]
Due to his increased mastery over his Death and Soul Manipulation Skills and Powers, Ankou was one of the many Gods and Demons close/related to death that had become interested in Yeon-woo's progress and showed obvious favor in his increase in power by clapping at his progress through the Trials.

The Commander[]
The Commander was the military commander who commanded Yeon-Woo group in Africa during his time in the military. He was mentioned to have looked out for Yeon-Woo and thought of him as a son. However, he still looked at him with sad eyes as he realized Yeon-Woo was looking for a place to die.
Before Yeon-Woo left for the Obelisk to avenge his brother he cut off all his relationships in his world and one of them was the military and the one Yeon-Woo talked to was the commander. The commander tried to discuss things, but Yeon-Woo already closed and throw the phone. During the tutorial, Yeon-Woo thought about the commander along with the rest of the squad.
Seina[]
Seina was Yeon-Woo's ex-girlfriend that he briefly dated during his time in Africa she was the sister of Zang Wei. Yeon-Woo used to cook pancakes for her daughter who liked it. Despite breaking up, Yeon-Woo seems to still cherish her as he was angry when her own brother killed her and hunted him down to kill him, but lost him as he managed to escape to the world of the Obelisk. During his time taking care of Sesa he would recall the time he spent with her and her daughter fondly.
Yul[]
Yeon-Woo meets Yul while he was in the tutorial first section. In exchange for helping him out, Yul would have to teach Yeon-Woo about magic. At first, Yeon-Woo intended to go his own way after both complete their end of the deal, but after seeing Yul about to be killed by his former teammates he immediately helped him. After hearing Yul, who was motivated by Yeon-Woo, say that he will work hard to become as strong as Yeon-Woo, he gave him the advice to try going to the Freesia Garden as it will be of great help to him. At the end of the tutorial, Yeon-Woo meets Yul who seemed stronger than before. Yul promised to return to the tower one day and find Yeon-Woo.
Valebich[]
One of the three founders of team Arthia. A half-giant and human. Known for the first one to pull out from Artia and trigger for its downfall. Also considered as one of the targets of Yeon-Woo for revenge.
However, Yeon-Woo would learn the truth about what happened, why Valebich disappeared, he was the one who sent the body of his brother back to earth and it was the doing of Bayluk. Yeon-Woo seems to no longer seek revenge against Valebich.
The Black King[]
An unknown entity and the owner of the Despair Black King. Yeon-Woo was shocked as he never heard of him in his brother's dairy. Due to the word king in his name, Yeon-Woo assumed he was a Monarch of the past and decided to gather as much information about him.
Later, after learning that the artifact was made from divine iron Yeon-Woo became confused due to the great power of the king but no one knew about him and even the Phoenix could not identify his artifact. And every god and devil refuse to reveal any information about him to Yeon-Woo or claim ignorance like the Monkey King. After meeting Persephone, Yeon-Woo learned that the king is greatly feared by the other gods from the generation of her mother Demeter and that there is an oath of not to reveal anything about him.
Demonism[]
After completing the Philosophers Stone, it was stated by Yeon-woo that the grudges of the souls used to create the stone, along with the fragments of Agares's personality present within demonic cores he took from him, the small fragment of the Black King's personality unknowingly present within him and a portion of his own personality, all merged together to form a new separate being all together created within his own soul. After this being was created, Yeon immediately realized that if he didn't do anything about it, there was a high possibility of it transforming into a new High-Level Demon or even transforming into a new "Agares" entirely. He immediately prepared to fight it in order to have full dominance over his new powers as his new Demonism began invading his body and attempting to convert him into a Demon. However, instead of fighting or challenging him, this new Demonism personality instead chose to back away and wait until Yeon-woo was stronger until trying to devour him and retreated into his Philosopher's Stone.
During the events of the Summer Queen final battle against the Martial King, The Demonism within Yeon-woo displayed for the first time its level of sentience and independent thought from Yeon-woo and its awareness to its surroundings from inside the Philosophers Stone. It was confirmed by him that the Demonsim was still "him" but at the same time another form of "him", confirming that it was indeed created from a small part of his personality. The Demonism was shown to more or less share Yeon-woo's extremely greedy personality and hoarder-like tendencies mix together with Agares's avaricious one-track desire. As seen where like Yeon, he would also like to eat and devour the soul of the Summer Queen and attempted to manipulate Yeon-woo into killing her despite the obvious power difference between them. Later it showcased its independence from Yeon by expressing anger, fury, and confusion at Yeon's actions of not getting the most powerful items from the Red Dragon Internian's and expressed delight when Yeon-woo confirmed his agreement to his desire to eat the Summer Queen. This confirmed that while created from a portion of Yeon's personality, it cannot actually read his mind or know his thoughts.
Later after fighting both Waltz and Benteke and was exhausted, The Demonism managed to summon Yeon-woo to the deepest depth of their consciousness to talk to him. The Demonism showed obvious joy at annoying and criticizing him in order to get him to become stronger and showed pleasure at annoying him and getting a rise out of him.
Its also apparent that the Demonism sees his and Yeon-woo's relationship as something akin to siblings, having called their relationship as being something like being twins. Apparently referring to Yeon-woo as his elder brother and himself as the younger one. Although unknown if genuine or not, it's obvious that the Demonism used this to make Yeon-woo enraged on purpose due to knowing that this was a sensitive subject for Yeon-woo.
During the times Yeon-woo had become massively endangered, the Demonism has shown to have a level of care for Yeon-woo, albeit it was stated by him this was only due to him wanting to make sure he survives until he was powerful enough for it to eat him. This is seen where during the fight against All-for-One and Crawling Chaos, the Demonsim was more than willing to lend its power and merge with Yeon-woo in order to increase their strength and survive these ordeals.
Later after Yeon-woo had become sufficiently powerful after gaining the knowledge of the Revelations, the Demonism was shown to have made its move to finally eat him and manifested itself to devour him completely. However, it was soon caught off guard by Yeon-woo strength and was mortified and embarrassed to soon be overpowered and defeated by him before being sealed away into Vigrid.
Anastasia[]
Anastasia is the teacher of Victoria and the one who protected her after the incident in the 20th floor in the Monkey King Palace. When Yeon-Woo went to look for her in order to find Victoria she first tried to seduce him, but she became hostile and attacked when he said he was looking for Victoria.
Thankfully the misunderstanding was resolved due to Victoria's intervention. Despite this, she still showed hostility and when she was asked to help Yeon-Woo to complete the Philosopher Stone she immediately rejected and told him to leave and not to bother her nor Victoria again after delivering a book from her student. Although from their interactions it can be guessed that Anastasia herself bears no actual personal ill will to Yeon and simply dislikes him due to the negative effects his presence brings to her student Victoria.
