Luciel was an incredibly powerful being who once resided within the Obelisk, surpassing the Gods and Demons. Despite his power, it was also stated he was neither a Demon or a God but was instead a being who possessed the powers of both species.

Physical Appearance[]

Luciel was stated to possess 7 white wings and 7 black wings on his back that were later ripped off him by the Gods and Demons.

Personality[]

History[]

In the beginning, there was fire, and Luciel was the one who watched over it. Then, he became a greater being by swallowing the Fire of the Beginning. This was how the lowly lighthouse keeper, Luciel, had become Lucifer. As a supernatural entity with hundreds of wings and a myriad of power, he couldn’t belong to gods or demons, light or darkness, and he just roamed around.

However, this power wasn’t bestowed upon him. As the fire was something all gods and demons treasured, they couldn’t allow Luciel to keep it to himself, so every god and demon societies worked together to tear off his wings and imprison him.

Despite being imprisoned and had his power and wings forcibly torn from him, Luciel refused to yield. This resorted in him instead splitting up his power into fourteen soulstones rather than returning it, with nine of them being distributed between the Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor of the Obelisk in the Upper Realms (Higher Floors) and the remaining five scattered around the Lower Realms (Lower Floors).

Abilities[]

After devouring the Fire of Beginning, Luciel was stated to have obtained vast amounts of power far surpassing the Gods and Demons of the 98th Floor in terms of raw power. It required all of the numerous societies band together in order to match and defeat him.

Soulstones[]

After his power was divided up into multiple pieces known as the Soulstones, it was shown that despite his power being reduced to mere fragments, each one still possessed gigantic amounts of power still surpassing Gods and Demons. As seen in the case of Viera Dune, who only possessed a single stone, was able to use it to empower herself to merge together body and mind with the ancient primordial Mother Goddess, The Great Mother, who was stated to be even older and more powerful than the elder leader Gods of Pantheons of the 98th Floor. This suggests a single soulstone has power equivalent to a Primordial God.

Later it was revealed that the Gluttonous Emperor also possessed one of his Soulstones. Despite the Emperor's unskilled use of the stone, without potential or talent, was only able to access 5% of its power, this amount was enough to empower the Emperor to become one of the Nine Kings and the ruler to Blood Land.

Luciel was stated to have a total of fourteen soulstones, with seven symbolizing the seven virtues and seven more that symbolizes the seven sins.

As stated by the three Elder Cyclopes's, each of the Stones have their own unique individual characteristics that makes them either easy or difficult to use and can easily make someone immensely powerful if they synchronize with the right Soulstone.

As seen after Yeon-woo dug into the essence of Superbia using his Dragon Eyes and Consciousness, the Soulstones themselves embodies all the various energies and power sources from within the Obelisk. With him noting that that single stone possessed, Magical Power, Holy Power, Demonic Power, Draconic Power, Monstrous Power, Spiritual Power, Curse Power, Skill Power and Law Power, all merged together into a new form of energy all together that can be used anywhere in anything. Allowing whoever who can successfully harness a stone the ability the potential to use every single ability, skill and power within the Obelisk.

As stated by Yeon-woo, the stones themselves on their own are powerful to a cataclysmic level. This is seen where some of the stones that were located deep underground in other planets had caused those planets to fall to ruin, causing planet wide ice-ages, draughts, typhoons and various other world ending disasters. Some of the stones had even been unknowingly eaten by normal animals, causing them to mutate into monsters with distorted minds due to the poor spiritual framework of their being that would prey on humans.

The stones are;

  • Seven Deadly Sins: The Sin Stones were stated to symbolize and embody various abilities to absorb and forcibly assimilate other things into themselves by force and making it part of them.

    • Superbia: The Soulstone symbolizing "Pride" of the Seven Deadly Sins and represents the power to overcome everything. Originally owned by Cha Jeong-woo. Currently owned by Cha Yeon-woo. This Soulstone was described to be immensely arrogant and difficult to work with, the stone was said to be aloof and high and tended to neither bend or break to anyone or anything, making it one of the more difficult to use of the fourteen Soulstones. However despite its arrogant nature, it was also noted that this is also its greatest strength, as its immense durability and stubbornness made it incredibly difficult to break and perfect for hiding things in. Due to this quality, Superbia was shown to be relentless when put to use, this is seen where it could continuously reinforce its users power and persist in accomplish ing something when activated, as seen where it would forcibly absorb the soul stones of lust and gluttony respectively even with the fierce resistance of its owners.

    • Luxuria: The Soulstone symbolizing "Lust" of the Seven Deadly Sins and represents the desire to be "loved" by everything. Originally owned by Cha Jeong-woo. Previously owned by Viera Dune, who then used it in her ritual to merge together with the Great Mother and become one of her "faces", merging the stones properties to both herself and the Primordial Goddess. In order to properly grant the Great Mother a proper physical form, Viera Dune used the Soulstone. After removing Viera Dune from her consciousness as her single uniting personality, the Great Mother was able to successfully simulate a singular consciousness by using the Soulstone as a core processer, allowing her to create a true physical incarnation for her body and stabilize her consciousness. The stone itself was able to smoothly process the numerous energies and power that she had absorbed, such as the Holy Power from Kronos, despite their lack of compatibility with her. After Mother Earth was defeated, the Soulstone was taken by Cha Yeon-woo and added into his Sin Stone. After defeating the Great Mother and killing Viera Dune, Yeon-woo now possess Luxuria. The Quality of Luxuria was stated to be the desire to be "loved" by everything and thus gives its user the ability to make others become "attracted" to them. Causing whoever sees or even only knowing about the user to begin desiring and lusting after the them. The more powerful the being, such as Gods and Demons, the stronger attraction becomes towards its user. As shown from Cha Yeon-woo's own usage, the stone itself could be used to weaken the resistance and defenses of a foreign energy or being that he absorbs due to the stone's ability to make them "attracted" to him and allows him to efficiently and easily assimilate them into himself without issue.

    • Gula: The SoulStone symbolizing "Gluttony" of the Seven Deadly Sins that represents the power to devour everything and anything. The Stone was previously owned, used and merged with Blood Land's Gluttonous Emperor of the Nine Kings. Currently owned and used by Cha Yeon-woo. After gaining the Stone, the current Emperor of Blood Land, who was hailed as the weakest and least talented member of Blood Land's royal family, successfully gained immense power, granting and empowering him the skills of "[Digestion]" and "[Predation]", that then allows him to completely absorb the power, abilities and skills of any being by eating them with a 100% chance of no rejection or danger to himself. Due to the Emperor being unable to fully control the full might of the Soulstone and his own severe lack of talent and only being able to bring out 5% of the stone's power, The Emperor has instead divided out the portions of the stone's power that he couldn't control to four of his Dukes in order to empower his forces, creating the " Four Monstrous Power War Spirits" by giving each a unique "power" that symbolized smaller fractions of the stone's abilities. After Yeon-woo acquired it from the Emperor, he would utilize the same method of granting the stone's lesser powers to his own familiars to strengthen them.

    • Acedia: The SoulStone symbolizing "Sloth" of the Seven Deadly Sins. Currently with Cha Yeon-woo and merged with his Sin Stone.

    • Ira: The Soulstone symbolizing "Wrath" of the Seven Deadly Sins. Currently with Cha Yeon-woo and merged with his Sin Stone.

    • Invidia: The Soulstone symbolizing "Envy" of the Seven Deadly Sins. Currently with Cha Yeon-woo and merged with his Sin Stone.

    • Avaritia: The SoulStone symbolizing "Greed" of the Seven Deadly Sins. Currently located in the realm of Pandemonium of the Seven Demon Kings.
  • Seven Virtues: The Stones of Virtue were stated to be the opposites of the Sin Stones. While the Sin Stones symbolized the various qualities and abilities of absorbing, devouring and assimilating others into themselves, the Virtue Stones instead have the quality of producing and generating energies and magnifying them further into new heights of power.

    • Castitas: The Soulstone symbolizing "Purity" of the Seven Virtues. Previously owned by Hades and used by Arges, the last surviving Elder Cyclopes. Currently owned by Cha Yeon-woo. This Soulstone was stated to be one of the most "pure" of the fourteen and its unique characteristics of symbolizing "purity" made it ideal for being used as the power source to create the flames for smith work, with its unique traits ability being able to purify and strengthen the unique properties of any material used by the the Cyclopes to forge weapons. Its been stated that unlike the Sin Stones, Casitas possess the quality to absorb any and all types of energies, regardless of what type they are and purify it. Once the stone purifies it completely, it transforms it into the purest form of magic power. However, the magic power it creates as a byproduct is so pure that it’s poisonous for most living beings to handle.

    • Temperantia: The Soulstone Symbolizing "Temperance" of the Seven Virtues. Originally owned by Yvlke who loaned it to Michael. Currently with Cha Jeong-woo.

    • Diligentia:The Soulstone Symbolizing “Diligence” of the Seven Virtues. The stone had fallen to the original home world of Valdebich and the other Giant descendants as a meteor. The home world of the half giants was stated to have begun collapsing and could no longer sustain life, in order to save their race, the half giants bound themselves like parasites to the stone and turning them into beings similar to undead to survive. Currently owned by Cha Yeon-woo.

    • Humanitas: The Soulstone Symbolizing “Kindness” of the Seven Virtues. Originally owned by the Macaque King of the Seven Demon Kings of Pandemonium. Later claimed by Cha Yeon-woo and The Monkey King.

    • Caritas: The Soulstone Symbolizing "Charity" of the Seven Virtues. The current owner of this Soulstone is Yvlke, who has temporarily loaned it to Zeus. Caritas was stated to be the direct opposite of the Stone of Superbia. Caritas was the power that shared and gave. In other words, meeting stronger opponents would allow its user to use an increasingly amplified amount of holy power as they continue to fight them. Zeus himself mainly used this stone in the form of one of his eyes.

    • Industria: The Soulstone Symbolizing "Diligence" of the Seven Virtues. This was the second soulstone gained by Zeus after the destruction of the Obelisk, with him using it by transforming it into one of his eyes. After his defeat by Cha Yeon-woo, Yvlke would also gain this Soulstone.
